Mr. Alex Volchegursky

Mr. Volchegursky, a senior litigation associate at the firm, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in May 2000. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley in 1996, in the field of Economics and History. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Volchegursky was an associate at Georgopoulos, Pahlavan & Prince, LLP from 2000 to 2001, where he concentrated exclusively on corporate finance and corporate securities, and an associate at Manatt, Phelps, & Phillips, LLP, from 2001 to 2003, where he initially concentrated on corporate finance and corporate securities, but later switched into intellectual property and general commercial litigation practice.

Mr. Volchegursky has broad experience in corporate and business transactional matters, as well as in business, intellectual property, and general commercial litigation. He has successfully appeared before California state and federal courts for trial matters. Mr. Volchegursky has a significant amount of litigation experience, having handled a number of business disputes from origination of claim to either trial or settlement. In addition, a significant portion of Mr. Volchegursky’s practice has involved representation of business clients in the formation of the entity, its operation, contractual obligations, financing, licensing, compliance with state regulations, and its relations with employees, suppliers and customers.
